  1. Light Circuit
  2.  
  3. The light system is
  4. composed of the
  5. wiring harness, the
  6. lights, and the
  7. switches that
  8. control current
  9. flow to the various
  10. circuits.  The
  11. light system can be
  12. broken down into
  13. individual
  14. circuits, each
  15. having one or more
  16. lights and
  17. switches.  In each
  18. circuit, lights are
  19. connected in
  20. parallel.  The
  21. switch for each
  22. circuit is in
  23. series between the
  24. group of lights and
  25. the fuse box.

  27. Sometimes one
  28. switch controls the
  29. connection to the
  30. fuse box and a
  31. second switch
  32. determines which of
  33. two circuits is
  34. energized.  The
  35. hi/low beam switch
  36. for headlights are
  37. an example of this
  38. type of switch. 
  39. Sometimes several
  40. switches are
  41. connected in
  42. parallel, as are
  43. the courtesy light
  44. switches, so that
  45. any one of several
  46. switches may be
  47. used to turn on the
  48. lights.
